Memories in Herat, Afghanistan

Hello to you all friends and readers;

In this post I’d like to take some time and write about some of the good times I have had in Herat province Afghanistan. I think It was a good luck of mine to be around here even though I have been away from family and friends but I think people around here have made it fun for me that I can’t even feel that distance.

Fridays are usually for going out and having fun. In summer time I’d like to practice swimming since I don’t know how to swim. I hope I’ll learn it sooooon. Sometimes we go to Takht E Safar, Baghe Melat, Shaydaee, Pule Pashto, Pule Malan, and some other outdoor places for fun activities.

During these times I met with Milad Jan one of the best kid ever. He is sweet, social, a great player and singer. His father Khalil Ahmad Tareen is also playing good Tabla and Harmony. Tareen says”Milad was so little and I was bringing him to the room where I played music when he grew up he got used to playing the instruments”. So he has been planning some parties around for us to have fun.

Here is a small audio section of Tareen’s Tabla playing:
